BIANCA BEAUCHAMP GRANTS ALL ACCESS TO HALO-8
- Indie distributor acquires worldwide rights to fetish supermodel documentary -

Los Angeles, CA, October 23, 2007 - Halo-8 Entertainment (Ryko Filmworks and Warner-Elektra-Atlantic -distributed label) has secured worldwide theatrical, home video, and television rights to the acclaimed documentary "BIANCA BEAUCHAMP: ALL ACCESS" by photographer and first-time director Martin Perreault. Halo-8 discovered the documentary at its Fantasia Film Festival premiere and outbid several other distributors through the weeks that followed. Halo-8 has slated the film for DVD release on January 29th, 2008.

"Bianca Beauchamp is an alt-culture goddess, and Martin Perreault has crafted a documentary that revels in her on-stage glamour while exposing her backstage antics," said Matt Pizzolo, President of Halo-8. "What really thrilled us is how Martin managed to transition his lush aesthetic from glamour photography to documentary video, creating a movie that is worthy of its larger-than-life subject."

"BIANCA BEAUCHAMP: ALL ACCESS is truly a labor of love, 100% independently produced from the ground up," said Perreault. "It only made sense to us that Halo-8, a strong supporter of indie films, would bring our DVD to the masses through its distribution channels. We are confident BB:AA will be very well represented."

Bianca Beauchamp (Maxim, Bizarre, Playboy, Marquis, Skin Two) is nothing short of an international phenomenon, and All Access offers the most candid, fun, intimate, and exhilarating portrait of the fetish icon and her decadent life. Following Bianca as she hosts the three-day long latex adventure Montreal Fetish Weekend, filmmaker Martin Perreault gets unrestricted access to the behind-the-scenes antics of the "latex fetish goddess." (-Hour Weekly) This unique documentary showcases the high-voltage kink of the fetish party with its adults-only performance art and invites viewers to party with Bianca and her favorite fetish models everywhere from the VIP room to the privacy of Bianca's own bedroom!

Fetish supermodel Bianca was the first model to appear six times on the cover of Bizarre Magazine, and she's also appeared on dozens of other covers including Playboy Special Editions and two Playboy Girls of Canada calendars. She is the official spokesmodel for Hype Energy and is well-known among gamers for playing the role of Elexis Sinclaire in the game SiN Episodes.

Launched in 1996 by Pierre Corbeil and based in Montreal, Quebec, Fantasia is North America's largest fantasy/horror film festival and is one of the most influential festivals of its kind in the world. Predominantly dedicated to fantastic cinema, Fantasia has always given a place to eccentric filmmaking of all stripes (for example, Fantasia hosted the Canadian Premiere of Darren Aronofsky's PI) and has typically screened several documentaries per year during its 18-day duration. This year's edition saw the birth of a new section in the festival's programming, "Documentaries From The Edge", dedicated to provocative and unusual documentary cinema. Programmer Mitch Davis chose BIANCA BEAUCHAMP: ALL ACCESS for the section. Last summer's event drew over 75,000 admissions.

Halo-8 Entertainment (www.halo8.tv) is devoted to supporting the unique visions of bold filmmakers by widely releasing dangerous films and alt-lifestyle videos through a combination of grassroots outlets and major studio distribution. Recent releases include the award-winning, controversial thriller THREAT (which Urb Magazine said "makes KIDS look like an after-school special"), the fetish art-film VOLUPTUOUS LIFE, and the suds-soaked alt-comedy BEER THE MOVIE (hailed as "the most outrageous and off-the-wall comedy sketches ever committed to film" by All Movie Guide). Upcoming releases include the award-winning protest film EXIST, the alt-lifestyle videos YOGA FOR INDIE ROCKERS and VEGAN COOKING FOR ANIMAL LOVERS, and the award-winning, controversial documentary YOUR MOMMY KILLS ANIMALS (which Variety called "a miraculously evenhanded treatment of a snarlingly divisive debate").

Congratulation. :) :applause:

But what does it exactly means?
I suppose they will publish the film now. But will it be exactly the same content as the "original" one?
And which version will you offer on IloveBianca.com ? Yours, their (and yours will become a collectors edition  ) or both?
And what if somebody would like to screen the film? Who should be contacted then?

Sorry for the curious questions . Anyhow its great news, as it will bring the movie to much wider audience I suppose. 8)

They will publish the same 2-disc edition DVD. Basically, it means Halo-8 now has the distribution rights. So they will now sell the DVD to stores and rental places. Basically, Halo-8 will sell to businesses, not individuals. We have agreed that Bianca and I could continue to sell our own copies on www.iLoveBianca.com .

It is unclear at the moment on where they will start distribution first. I assume they'll start with a US release. I have no idea how many copies they are going for... so it could take a while for people to be able to get their hands on it in conventional DVD stores. The best way to get it for now and for a while is through Bianca's online store (plus, you get to be able to have a an autographed copy).

As soon as we have more details in 2008 on the Halo-8 distribution, we'll inform you all.

Cheers!

Good deal! Congrats, and can't wait to see if they eventually also include tiny Belgium in the distribution list.

Hi Martin and Bianca,
I got your email about posting a review and rating your DVD on IMDB
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1099932
and I've done it. I also found it listed on Amazon at
http://www.amazon.com/Bianca-Beauchamp-Access-Jean-Bardot/dp/B000XSKDMO/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_i and rated it there.
I recommend sending an email out to your fans about the Amazon listing. Also I notice the IMDB listing has no merchandising links or DVD details, two areas on IMDB where I go to purchase a DVD. Usually there's a link to Amazon in the DVD details listing. I assume you could put your store in the mercandising links area.
Just suggestions to help boost sales of your fascinating film. If you've already thought of this, sorry for the redundancy.
Fred

Thanks for the suggestion Fredric! Much appreciated! I'll checkout the merchandise section for sure.
