I know only of sites, quite a few, that let their forummembers win tickets for all kind of fetish parties here in Holland. Winning money is indeed new to me ....

Saving money to go to Kink9 with friends this year .... getting my vacation there will prolly make me die happy!

The nice thing about money is how... flexible it is. Ok, I win a ticket to superduperlatexparty somewhere. What if the timing is wrong? Or I simply can't afford to go?

With such a nice amount, you can probably go to just about any party and buy some gear while you're at it too

This is a quick info to let everybody know we have now compiled all the data from all subscriptions, digitally assigned raffle tickets to all participants, and downloaded a random number generator to be used for the draw.

So basically, we are ready to do the final draw for the three prizes: $3,000, $1,000 and $1,000 respectively.

The draw will be done this week (week of January 21st to January 25th.). An official announcement will be posted this week, along with the winners (full names will be kept confidential). We will find a way to properly identify them in our post, and of course we will email the winners immediately. We will request that the winners claim their prize publicly on the forum to make this more interactive. Also, if the winners are up for it, we would like to ask them to post a quick Youtube clip of them giving us a few comments on how it feels to win their prize (or something like that). We'll see how this plays off.


Meanwhile, as per described in the rules posted during the contest dates:

"The winners will be contacted to their respective email address, as per given during the Subscription Purchase. Each winner will have 7 days to answer the email to claim their prize. If the email is not valid, or if the winner does not respond within 7 days, the other winners' rank are updated to the step above (for instance, if Winner of the First Prize does not answer, Winner 2 gets updated to First Prize and Winner 3 gets updated to Second Prize), then a new name will be randomly selected in the draw to become the Third Prize winner. These steps will be taken until the all contacted winners reponds by email to claim their prize, in the timeframe explained above."

I would like to make a precision. It has been decided that when we proceed with the draw, we will randomly generate 10 numbers (10 raffle tickets). Obviously, the first 3 raffle ticket numbers to be generated are the winners. The rest are runners up, in case any of the winners do not claim their prize. We feel that 7 runner ups should be enough, but in the unlikely case that no one of the 10 would claim their prize, we will then do a new draw altogether and generate a new list of winners and runner ups.

One person can win only once and claim only one prize. Meaning: if a person has, for instance, 10 raffle tickets to his name, and more than one of his tickets are picked during the draw, only one of them will count and a new one will be randomly selected.



Well, that's about it for the news regarding the contest.

DRAW METHODOLOGY:

- Raffle tickets were assigned to each subscriber by order of subscription date and time.
- The number of raffle tickets were assigned to each participant according to the participant's subscription (see rules).
- subscribers prior to Oct.15th.2007 who were still active December 31st.2007 were assigned 3 raffle tickets (as per the rules). Their raffle tickets were assigned in decreasing order of subscriptions date and time, starting October 14th.2007 and going backwards.
- All participants were printed on pages containing all their information, with the raffle tickets numbers that were assigned to their account.
- The website WWW.RANDOM.ORG was used to generate 10 random numbers from 1 to the last raffle ticket handed out.
- The first 3 randomly generated numbers are the winners, in order of appearance on screen. The 7 others are contenders to the prizes in case any of the winners don't claim their prize.
- The draw was filmed in continuous mode (no cut in the clip) to authenticate the draw.
